Surrogacy Qualifications

Your health is our primary concern!  In order to ensure that surrogacy can be a healthy and successful experience for you, is why you’ll partake in a thorough screening process. In meeting these requirements and qualifications, you’ll know you’re an ideal candidate.

 

If you’re considering surrogacy, please review the following criteria to determine if it is the right path for you.

What are our Surrogate Requirements?

  • You are a United States citizen or legal residents (must be able to provide documentation that is valid for at least 2 years)

  • You are between the ages of 21 - 38

  • You maintain a healthy BMI (Under 36)

  • You had a healthy pregnancy and delivery history without complications (as documented in medical records)

  • You had no more than 5 vaginal births or 2 c-sections

  • You have one or more children of your own, that are still in your care

  • You maintain a healthy stable lifestyle.

  • You do not participate in the following government aid programs:

    • Cash assistance

    • Welfare

    • Public housing and section 8

    • Medi-Cal or Government health care program

    • W.I.C.

  • You reside in the United States in a surrogate-friendly state (we apologize, as we cannot accept gestational carriers who reside in non surrogate friendly states or from outside of the US. Click here, to learn more about surrogacy laws by state)

  • You do not use illegal drugs, smoke cigarettes, vape, or abuse alcohol

  • You agree to undergo a psychological, drug and criminal screening

  • You are willing to travel to a fertility clinic for the in-vitro fertilization (IVF) process. (Please note, embryo transfer trips include overnight stays)

  • You posses a valid driver’s license

  • You have the support of her family. If married or partnered, the surrogate must have her partner’s support. (If applicable, your partner/primary support person must agree to participate in screening process)
